Top Ten 2016 Debuts

I've been watching this meme float around a lot, so I've finally decided to join in the fun! This meme was created by The Broke and the Bookish. Every Tuesday there is a new list that involves all things books!

top ten 2016 debuts I am looking forward to
*to add a book to your Goodreads, simply click the title of the book!*

Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh

This is supposed to be the prehistoric meets fantasy with a dabble in romance, and that has me stoked.

Blackhearts by Nicole Castroman

With a little pirate action going on, Blackhearts is a Black Beard origin story, and I'm so freaking excited. Guys, this could be THE pirate book!

Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton

This book is supposed to be terrifically written, with a mix of an American Western and Middle Easter/Arabian inspired setting. If that doesn't get you excited, then I don't know what could.

Into the Dim by Janet B. Taylor

Scotland and time travel ... Scotland and time travel ...

Sword and Verse by Kathy MacMillan

I've heard that the world building is fantastic and what's better than a great development, eh? Plus, that cover is dang pretty *grabby hands*

Arrows by Melissa Gorzelanczyk

Modern day cupid story featuring Greek mythology? I love a good contemporary and this sounds like everything I'll ever need packed into a single book. You can count me in!

Dreamology by Lucy Keating

I've head amazing things about this book. It sounds like an epic, whimsical romance that will suck you right in until you feel robbed of your heart.

These Vicious Masks by Tarun Shanker and Kelly Zekas

This book ... THIS BOOK ... is going to be epic. A paranormal romance twisted with Jane Austen meets X-Men AND it's set in Victorian London?! I'm in man, sign me the heck up.

The Serpent King and Jeff Zenter

This sounds like such a good book. I have heard that it is incredibly beautiful, powerful, and poignant.

Scarlett Epstein Hates it Here by Anna Breslaw

This sounds like the type of book to pick you up on a sad day. It's said to be hilarious, wise, and filled to the brim with one-liners and quick wit, something I enjoy a lot!

These aren't, of course, all of the books I am looking forward to in 2016. This is just a snapshot and does not include any of the debuts I've included in my Waiting on Wednesday posts. I hope you enjoyed and leave your link below!

  2. I am also looking forward to most of these books! YA fantasy is going to explode in 2016, I believe XD I mean, these are just debut novels and there will be tons of books by authors we already know (and love) coming out as well. Must definitely build my bank account before the year ends, XD

  9. Ah! This is so AWESOME! I really hope you like BLACKHEARTS! Some people expect Pirates of the Caribbean, but it's not like that at all. It really is pre-pirate. Before he became a swashbuckler.
